Last Friday my best friend and old roommate Kelsey (who currently lives in Canada) came to stay with me for a week. We had a blast and a half! Here is some of what we did this week:
Ate at The Pie
Went to the Cheesecake Factory
Made a Delicious Sunday Dinner
Picnic at Bear Lake
Letter A Movie Party
Fire at Second Dam
Played Nerts... a lot!!!
>
Had a killer game of Killer Bunnies
Ate at Pounders
We also finished our Harry Potter movie marathon with Harry Potter 5 and 6, went to Cafe Rio, Ikea, three different malls in the SLC area, watched all of Gossip Girl season one, went shopping around Logan, and played quite a few games. This week was seriously so much fun and I really wish Kels didn't live so far away!!!
A little family, having little adventures, and learning about life as it comes.

Grades Are In
I got an A in anthropology! Woo Hoo! It was such a hard class that I am seriously shocked I did so well! I got a B+ in my USU class, which is kind of lame, I feel like I could have done better but oh well. My GPA was a 3.66 so no complaints here!
*Curious about the picture? I decided to resort back to elementary school and give myself a gold star! ha ha

MY Mom is Cooler than YOUR Mom!!!
Top Reasons Why My Mom is the Coolest:
--Mom makes the best gorilla poops ever! I have tried like a billion times, but mine just never turn out like hers.
-- Every year when I was in elementary school my mom would dress up like a witch for Halloween, green face and all. She would come to my class and hand out treats. Then she would drive us home, with the window rolled down, and cackle at all the other children walking home.
--The first time I went toilette papering was with my mom. She had to make sure I was doing it right. =)
--Mom makes every birthday extra special. She would make us a special birthday breakfast (waffles with strawberries and cool whip), give us a new outfit to wear to school, and decorate the house in balloons and crape paper. We also had some pretty wicked awesome parties!
--Sometimes during the summer, my mom would just spontaneously say, “Kids get your swimsuits on. Pack the car. We are going to Bear Lake.” Bear Lake trips were very rarely pre-planned.
-- Mom always makes the holidays extra-special. We decorated for EVERYTHING!
-- My mom can ride a wave-runner harder than anyone I know!
--My mom is the one that gave me my love for animals. She made sure we always had pets, and then was always really patient when she was the one that ended up taking care of them.
--Mom would make work fun. We would race the clock (“Let’s see if we can clean the whole house in an hour! Set the timer!”) Pump up the music. Be rewarded with ice cream. She is just full of grand ideas.
--If my mom has not heard from me for more than three days, she calls to see if I have forgotten that I have a mother.
-- My mother is the best prankster on the planet. She will get ya when you least expect it. (April Fools day is always really scary at my house ha ha)
--Mom is the best nurse when you are sick or injured. When I broke my knee and was on crutches for five months my mom was amazing!!
-- Mom cheats when she plays cards. She will deny this however. Which kind of makes it even funnier.
--Mom loves the beach and sunshine just as much as I do, if not more.
--My mom has good fashion sense
--Mom is a ‘handyman’. She would fix the vacuum, leaky faucets, and all other major appliances. Very rarely would you see a repair man at our house.
-- Mom has survived Dad for 26 years. Not an easy task ha ha j/k
Well pretty much this list could go on and on! Mom, you’re amazing! Thanks for all you have done for me and all you have taught me about life. I hope someday I can be as cool of a mom to my kids as you were to us! Happy Mother’s Day! I Love You!
